Dumerzel is an AI-native education company dedicated to solving the personalized tutoring gap. We are a group of passionate engineers and concerned parents building the future of learning in a world increasingly shaped by Artificial Intelligence.
Born out of a desire to turn screen time into learning time, Dumerzel gives students a tool that answers their endless "whys" with patience, accuracy, and depth, while fostering independence and critical thinking.
Our Philosophy
We believe in "AI for Good." By introducing children to AI in a safe, controlled, and educational environment, we prepare them for a future where human-AI collaboration will be the norm.

The Team
Sam Zhang, Ph.D.
Founder & CEO
Sam is a Ph.D. graduate from UC Davis with a deep background in advanced hardware and energy systems. An engineer at heart, he previously served as CTO of Super Lithium Technology, where he led his team to win the prestigious Clean Tech Award at the UC Davis Big Bang! Business Competition.
Since May 2025, Sam has transitioned fully to building Dumerzel as a solo project. Leveraging his enthusiasm for "vibe coding" and agentic AI workflows, he is single-handedly architecting a high-velocity AI-native education platform that bridges the gap between complex technology and intuitive learning.
